Welcome to Pretty With Shayy Skin & Wax Atelier LLC! We are committed to providing professional skincare and waxing services in a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. By booking an appointment, purchasing a service or product, or receiving services from us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Appointments & Booking

All appointments must be scheduled through our approved booking system or another booking method authorized by Pretty With Shayy Skin & Wax Atelier LLC.
Appointments are subject to availability.
Clients are responsible for selecting the correct service when booking.
Please review your appointment confirmation for the service, date, time, and any applicable payment requirements.
Walk-ins are not guaranteed and are accepted only when availability permits.
Providing accurate contact information is the client’s responsibility.

2. Deposits & Payments

A deposit is required to secure all appointments.
All deposits are non-refundable. Once an appointment is booked and the deposit is paid, the deposit will not be refunded if the client cancels, fails to attend, or changes their appointment.
Deposits are applied toward the total cost of the scheduled service unless otherwise disclosed.
Remaining balances are due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon.
Deposits are not transferable to another person.
Any exceptions required by applicable law or approved by Pretty With Shayy Skin & Wax Atelier LLC will be handled accordingly.
Clients must review and agree to this policy before submitting payment.

3. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows

We understand that schedules can change. We ask that clients communicate appointment changes as early as possible.

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice when canceling or rescheduling.
Late cancellations, missed appointments, and repeated last-minute changes may result in a cancellation or no-show fee if the fee and policy were disclosed before booking.
Deposits will be handled according to the terms presented at the time of booking.
Clients who arrive after their scheduled appointment time may receive a shortened service or need to reschedule if completing the service would affect another client’s appointment.
Repeated missed appointments or policy violations may result in restrictions on future bookings.

4. Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment.

If you anticipate being late, contact us as soon as possible. Arrivals that compromise the scheduled service or the next appointment may need to be rescheduled. Any applicable fee must be disclosed in advance.

5. Client Consultation & Disclosure

Clients must complete all required consultation forms, intake forms, and consent documents before receiving services.

Clients agree to disclose relevant information, including:

Known allergies or sensitivities.
Current skincare products and active ingredients.
Recent waxing, exfoliation, chemical peels, laser treatments, or other skin procedures.
Prescription skincare products or medications that may affect the skin.
Recent sunburn, irritation, open wounds, infections, or other visible skin concerns.Forms and consultation information
Any other information reasonably necessary to assess service suitability.

Clients must notify their esthetician of any changes to their skin condition or relevant circumstances before each appointment.

Failure to disclose relevant information may affect service eligibility and results.

Please review the privacy policy of the booking provider you use for additional information about how it handles your data.

6. Service Eligibility & Right to Refuse Service

Pretty With Shayy Skin & Wax Atelier LLC reserves the right to postpone, modify, or decline a service when it is reasonably necessary to protect a client’s health, safety, comfort, or skin integrity.

Services may be declined or modified due to contraindications, active irritation, broken skin, suspected infection, inadequate hair length for waxing, or other conditions that make the requested service inappropriate.

We may recommend that a client consult a qualified healthcare professional before proceeding when appropriate.

Clients will be informed of the reason for a service refusal or modification whenever reasonably possible. Any applicable payment or deposit will be handled according to the disclosed booking policy and applicable law.

7. Waxing Services

Waxing results and client comfort vary based on individual skin sensitivity, hair growth patterns, hair length, preparation, and aftercare.

Clients receiving waxing services agree to:

Follow all pre-service instructions.
Disclose relevant medications, topical products, allergies, and skin conditions.
Inform the esthetician immediately if they experience significant discomfort.
Follow the recommended post-waxing care instructions.
Waxing may temporarily cause redness, sensitivity, bumps, or irritation. Less common reactions may include bruising, skin lifting, ingrown hairs, or changes in pigmentation.
Although appropriate precautions are taken, individual reactions cannot be guaranteed or entirely prevented.

8. Facial & Skincare Services

Facials are customized according to the client’s skin type, concerns, goals, and service suitability.

Clients understand that skincare results vary and that no specific outcome is guaranteed. Some treatments may cause temporary redness, sensitivity, dryness, or other reactions.

Clients must disclose recent treatments, relevant medications, allergies, and current skincare routines before their service.

Please follow all post-treatment instructions provided by your esthetician, including recommendations regarding sun protection, exfoliation, active ingredients, and other products.

If an unexpected or severe reaction occurs, discontinue potentially irritating products and seek appropriate medical attention when necessary.

9. Health, Safety & Sanitation

Pretty With Shayy Skin & Wax Atelier LLC is committed to maintaining professional sanitation and disinfection practices.

Clients agree to follow reasonable studio hygiene and safety instructions. Clients must not knowingly attend an appointment when doing so would create an avoidable health or safety risk to others.

We reserve the right to postpone or decline a service when necessary to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.

10. Minors & Consent

Services for clients under 18 years of age are subject to service-specific eligibility requirements and applicable South Carolina laws and regulations.

A parent or legal guardian must provide any required consent before a minor receives a service. A parent or guardian may also be required to attend the appointment, depending on the service and applicable requirements.

Not all services are appropriate for every age group. Service eligibility will be determined before treatment.

11. Refunds & Service Concerns

All service concerns should be communicated to Pretty With Shayy Skin & Wax Atelier LLC as soon as reasonably possible so that they can be reviewed.

Because services are performed individually, completed services are generally not refundable except where required by law or otherwise approved by the business.

Retail product return or exchange eligibility will be communicated at the time of purchase. Opened or used skincare products may be subject to additional restrictions for hygiene and safety reasons.

Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

12. Gift Cards, Promotions & Memberships

Any gift cards, promotional offers, packages, or memberships are subject to the specific terms disclosed at purchase.

Promotions must be redeemed within their stated validity periods.
Discounts cannot be combined unless expressly permitted.
Membership benefits are subject to the membership terms presented at enrollment.
Membership services are non-transferable unless otherwise stated.Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
Any cancellation requirements, recurring charges, or renewal terms will be disclosed before enrollment.
Unused balances and expiration dates will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

13. Client Conduct

We are committed to providing a respectful, professional, and comfortable experience for every client.

Harassment, threats, abusive language, inappropriate conduct, or behavior that compromises safety will not be tolerated.

Pretty With Shayy Skin & Wax Atelier LLC reserves the right to end an appointment or decline future bookings when reasonably necessary to protect clients, staff, or the business.

14. Photography, Video & Social Media

Client photographs, videos, testimonials, and other identifiable content will only be used for marketing, educational, portfolio, or social media purposes when the appropriate consent has been obtained.

Agreeing to receive a service does not automatically constitute consent to be photographed or filmed for promotional purposes.

Clients may decline promotional photography without affecting their eligibility to receive an otherwise appropriate service.

15. Privacy & Communication

We respect client privacy and handle personal information according to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Information collected through booking, consultation, payment, and consent forms may be used for appointment management, service delivery, payment processing, client communications, and other disclosed business purposes.

Clients may receive appointment confirmations, reminders, and service-related messages. Marketing communications will be handled in accordance with applicable consent requirements. Clients may opt out of marketing messages using the instructions provided.

16. Website & Booking Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep service descriptions, pricing, availability, and booking information accurate. Prices, services, and promotions may change, subject to applicable law and any terms already agreed upon for a confirmed appointment.

If an error occurs in a booking or listing, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate the issue and resolve it appropriately.

17. Limitation of Liability

Pretty With Shayy Skin & Wax Atelier LLC takes reasonable precautions to provide professional services and maintain appropriate sanitation practices.

To the extent permitted by law, the business is not responsible for outcomes caused by inaccurate or incomplete client disclosures, failure to follow aftercare instructions, or circumstances outside the business’s reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including liability that cannot legally be waived.

18. Changes to These Terms

Pretty With Shayy Skin & Wax Atelier LLC may update these Terms & Conditions when business policies, services, or legal requirements change.

The current version will be made available through the website or booking platform. Material changes will be communicated as appropriate. Any applicable changes will be subject to governing law and the terms applicable to an existing booking.

19. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without disregarding any mandatory legal protections that may apply.

Any dispute will be addressed in accordance with applicable law.

20. Acknowledgment & Acceptance

By booking or receiving a service, the client acknowledges that they have had the opportunity to review these Terms & Conditions and agree to comply with the applicable policies.

Clients are encouraged to ask questions about any policy they do not understand before booking or receiving a service.
